your needs to get you connected.
Dial-Up
Internet service is great for home use if you live outside the city
limits or if you plan to rarely use your Internet service. Dial-Up
uses a phone line, often dedicated, to connect. The maximum
connection speed that can be achieved with this service is 56K. If
you live outside of the Cable and Wireless areas, this may be the
only solution for you.
Cable Internet service is
a great step up from dial-up Internet where locally available. We offer
solutions for both residential and business settings. This service does not
require the use of a phone line for connection. While setup may take up to five
days to setup, the connection speed is at minimum five times faster. Speeds of
up to 512K can be reached with cable Internet.
Wireless Internet
is a good solution for people who are outside of the range of Cable Internet.
Although wireless Internet is limited by line of site reception, we have a
fairly wide range of areas that are serviceable in and around Poplar Bluff. We
offer wireless accounts for both Residential and Business customers with speeds
of up to 1 MB, depending on your signal.
Data Backup
is a great peace of mind. If your building catches fire or natural disaster
strikes we offer an offsite data backup solution for critical data. This is an
automated service that, once installed, you don't ever have to worry about it.
We will backup the files of your choosing at a scheduled time of your choosing.
On top of that, we will even come out and install/set it up for you!
We also offer hosting for
your website and email.
This can be for your personal or business use. We do not currently offer any
web site creation but can give you access to web space and reasonable rates. We
will register a domain for you or you can register one for yourself. Either
way, the process is quick and painless.
T1
Lines/Dedicated
Internet Service is another great service offered by tcMAX.net. Does your
business get really frustrating when the Internet goes down? Dedicated Internet
service is a great, solid solution. While cable internet and wireless internet
are good high speed services T1 Lines are a dedicated Line that only you use and
are a much more stable connection to the internet. So, if your business relies
solely on the Internet, you may want to consider a T1.
